Komunitas Bike To Work

Pentolan komunitas Bike to Work nongol di MetroTV kemarin (nama segmennya apa ya? lupa lagi:)). Mengulas keseharian para eksekutif di Jakarta yang memanfaatkan sepeda untuk sarana transportasi utama dalam mensiasati kemacetan lalu lintas yang kian hari kian padat dan semrawut. Pak Toto sang pentolan terbiasa mengayuh sepedanya dari Cibubur ke Sudirman (buset!).

Hidup komunitas bike to Work! semoga panjang umur selalu di tengah keprihatinan bangsa ini terhadap ketergantungan akan gaya hidup hedonis dan metropolis, gengsi dan harga diri. Masih ada orang-orang seperti Pak Toto dkk, yang mencoba menampar wajah pemerintah dengan aksi yang produktif…

jadi inget dosen saya yang memang punya kebiasaan naik sepeda dari dulu kalau ke kampus. Usianya dah tua bgt. Dan entah kenapa .. katanya .. seakrang kalau ke kampus dia memang masih bersepeda, tapi nggak dinaiki .. hanya dituntun!!

naik sepeda di jakarta di hari kerja? busyet, apa gak penuh itu paru2 sama CO2 yg keluar dari kendaraan bermotor? jakarta kan kota super polusi. belum lagi resiko kesamber motor/mobil, kan gak ada jalur khusus sepeda di sana?

naik sepeda di jakarta di hari kerja? busyet, apa gak penuh itu paru2 sama CO2? belum lagi resiko kesamber motor/mobil, kan gak ada jalur khusus sepeda di sana?

Kita memang edan..tapi kita ga sekedar edan, kita edan2an untuk berjuang untuk jalur sepeda yang layak di indonesia ini..

Member bike to work rata2 membernya terdiri dari pekerja2 professional yang cukup memperhitungkan keamanan dan kenyamanannya, dikepala kita hanya 1 jakarta yang bebas polusi!
Kita tidak hanya mengucapkan kata2: “Jakarta kota polusi” tapi kita juga peduli dengan polusi tersebut dan kepedulian kita untuk jakarta yg lebih nyaman dicerminkan dengan melakukan kegiatan bersepeda 1 minggu sekali minimum.

Dan waspada bagi anda yg setiap hari duduk nyaman di dalam mobil dan motor anda karena anda2lah korban sebenarnya dari polusi tersebut di bandingkan dengan pesepeda
atau pejalankaki.. berikut ini referensinya dan tetap saya pegang teguh dalam bersepeda ke kantor.

Dibawah ini ada penelitian dari negara tetangga … memang polusinya
disana ga separah di sini..tapi untuk perbandingan tingkat keracunanya
kan bisa di ambil kesimpulannya

It has frequently been claimed that cycling in heavy traffic is
unhealthy, more so than driving a car. To test this hypothesis, teams
of two cyclists and two car drivers in two cars were equipped with
personal air samplers while driving for 4 h on 2 different days in the
morning traffic of Copenhagen. The air sample charcoal tubes were
analysed for their benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene (BTEX)
content and the air filters for particles (total dust). The
concentrations of particles and BTEX in the cabin of the cars were 2-4
times greater than in the cyclists’ breathing zone, the greatest
difference being for BTEX. Therefore, even after taking the increased
respiration rate of cyclists into consideration, car drivers seem to
be more exposed to airborne pollution than cyclists.

Dinegara Cina pegawai pabrik mobil, menuju tempat kerja naik SEPEDA, tapi kalau di Indonesia pegawai pabrik SEPEDA, menuju tempat kerja naik mobil……………………….

menanggapi cerita pak Johan, memang ada orang yang sangat mencintai sepeda. Waktu saya masih kecil, pertama kali dibelikan sepeda, semalaman nggak bisa tidur, karena ngeliatin sepeda terus (sepedanya ditaruh disamping tempat tidur)…………………………….
